Sensory Activities for Children

Sensory activities are almost always a no-fail activity.  It opens the door for free play.  It lets the kids explore materials.  And it's just fun!

Sensory activities tend to end in a mess, but if you're not a mess fan we have you covered!  Here is a link for 10 Tips to Keep Messy Play Clean.

We are challenging you to get kids to explore with other senses than touch.  Find activities that intentionally get kids to use their sense of sound, taste, sight, and smell.

Follow this link, to find 25 ways to incorporate sensory at your house. :)  You can also sign up for a 7 day challenge and get weekly ideas.

The Academy LOVES hands-on activities and constantly challenges the teachers to come up with more ways to help the children explore through senses.

We can't wait to see what ideas you come up with....send us pictures!!!!
