Sensory Fun with Colors

 Sensory projects are so fundamental for young children. Hands on while we grow. It gives them endless ways to develop and learn. Skills like gross motor skills and concentration. Our Preschool One children ( Two's) explored colored spaghetti. They used their sense to discover and explore. Some of the kiddos also played in colored bowtie noodles and rice.

St. Jude's Trike-A-Thon

The St. Jude Trike-A-Thon went very well. The weather was pretty and lots of sunshine. Our children learned and practiced bike safety and rules. We had an absolute blast riding. We are also collecting donations until the end of the month for St.Jude's Childrens Hospital.

Spring Time Allergies

Spring is my favorite time of year. We are able to come out of hibernation again, enjoy the sun, and best of all all nature is blooming. The only drawback is yucky allergies. In Tennessee we have moderate pollen count and can affect children with allergy, asthma, and sinus issues. This in turn makes outside time not very pleasant. 

The good thing about allergy now there are over the counter antihistamines to help aid in the runny nosy, itchy eyes and throat that comes along with allergies. We strive to keep you as parents informed.

Read Across America Week At AoG

The past week has been " Dr. Seuss Week" and we had an absolutely wonderful time dressing up and reading all sorts of books. Reading and storytelling is so vital for young children. It is in hopes that as they grow they will continue to enjoy reading. Check us out!

Dr. Seuss Week consisted of  wearing a crazy hat, wacky dress-up, wear as many colors as possible, and wear stripes!
