Fall Fun at the Academy of Gateway

 This October has been full of festive fun and hands on activities at the Academy of Gateway! Our little learners have been busy exploring and celebrating the magic of the fall season. We kicked things off with a Play-Doh monster take home activity, were our kiddos got to stretch their imaginations and craft silly, spooky monsters. Next up was our Fall Festival, one of our favorite traditions of the year! Our families joined us for an afternoon filled with hayrides, games, and a cake walk filled with delicious treats It was the perfect way to celebrate the seasons and making lasting memories together. We also had a cozy and spooky pajama day, and everyone was so excited to show off their Halloween jammies! We wrapped up the festivities with our Trunk or Treat, our families decorated their cars and passed out candy to our little trick or treaters. The creativity of the trunks made it a truly special celebration. October has been filled with smiles, laughter, and so many memories!

 October kicked off in the best way with a mix of fun, learning, and spirit!

To start the month, our kiddos and staff proudly wore pink for breast cancer awareness, showing support and spreading love and hope. Our little witches and wizards also enjoyed a special "witches broom" grab-and-go made out of pretzels- a spooky way to celebrate the season!

The excitement continued with our pumpkin guessing jar competition. Everyone had a chance to guess how many pumpkins were inside for a chance to win a spooky basket filled with festive goodies. 

We rolled into more fun with pumpkin bowling, a fall favorite that had lots of giggles and cheers. To wrap up the week, our kiddos explored the outdoors with a fall scavenger hunt, and a spider web activity. October is off to a magical start, and we can't wait for more festive fun!
