We are loving the snow here at The Academy Of Gateway! The children had a blast playing in the snow! Here at the Academy we are all about using every avenue for the children to explore and grow. Today we were able to explore with some of natures creations. SNOW DAY!!
Snow is a sensory activity. Sensory play supports language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction. Sensory play is great for calming an anxious or frustrated child. This helps children learn sensory attributes.
