Our little learners had a fun filled time with creativity and family fun! We started the week with story time; with our seasonal book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves. The children loved the story's funny twist, and it helped spark great conversations about the fall season. Families joined in on the fun with our scarecrow contest! It was amazing to see the creativity shine. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we had our own DIY station at pick up where children and families could decorate their very own sombrero, adding bright colors and personal touches. We also had a festive maraca grab and go bringing music and culture into our celebrations. Inside our classrooms, our kiddos worked on their self-portrait puppets, a hands-on way to explore self-expression and creativity. We wrapped up the week with something special everyone loves, pepperoni pizza in honor of national pepperoni day! It was weeks filled with learning and laughter, and celebration. We can't wait to see what the next weeks bring!
