Cast Your Vote...

It's that time of year to cast your vote for The Best of Parenting nominations.

We have set up a convenient voting booth at our Academy Center. Simply cast your vote using one of our tablets, write your name on the provided slip, and give to the front desk. Your name will then be entered into our drawing for a chance to win a week of FREE tuition!

If you cast your vote at home... simply give the front desk a copy of your confirmation page to be entered into our drawing.

Giddy Up!

What?! Wild West week is ending.

That's OK, "we still LOVE hanging out at the Ranch!"

Everyone enjoyed our Wild West theme, including the infants!

We had a lot of little Cowboys and Cowgirls who showed up here at the Academy Ranch!

And the Cowgirls too!

NO time for kicking up our boots...

Superhero Family Event Night

All kinds of Superhero's invaded the Academy of Gateway this past week! Including Donatello!

Our little Superhero's here at the Academy crawled, balanced, and made it through laser courses, all in the nick of time!

Our students kept their super powers focused at all times!

Whoa...

Whoa... (I got this, I have been trained by the Academy)!

In the end our Academy students continue on with their strength and wisdom!

We will miss our Superhero week flying by so fast however, this week is Wild West week here at the Academy. We will surely be safe in our Wild West town with all of our little Cowboys and Cowgirls! Giddy Up!

AoG is ELECTRIFYING!

Things were electrifying here today at the Academy when Scientist, Mr. Bond arrived! This was one of our students demonstrating static electricity created from the Van De Graaff Generator.

He captivated all of our students attention with his scientific experiments! This included, Spiderman web making, creating bubbles form dry ice, and many other hair raising results (literally)!

AoG students were blown away by Scientist, Mr. Bond's creativity!

This students and staff had a SUPER fun time!

As our Superhero week comes to an end... there will be lasting friendships that will fly into the future here at the Academy of Gateway!

KINDERGARTEN BOOT CAMP: AN ACADEMY EXCLUSIVE

The Academy is recognized by the community for our kindergarten specific programs including our one-of-a-kind Kindergarten Boot Camp. Our Pre-K program includes hands-on explorations that create new learning connections in language, math, science, social, emotional and physical development. Children investigate “Big Ideas” and are actively involved in seeking answers to their own questions. Intentional daily plans cover a specific range of guidelines that prepare our children to meet and exceed kindergarten readiness standards for both public and private schools. Kindergarten Boot Camp, offered exclusively by Never Grow Up, is a dedicated summer program that teaches important, yet often overlooked, skills needed to navigate kindergarten with confidence. Skills such as remembering a lunch number, carrying a lunch tray or returning a library book are examples of how we “train” our Academy kids to “be all they can be”!

Gold Sneaker Certified

Healthy habits are instilled at a young age, with most habits being formed during adolescence. We feel it important to instill good habits at an early age, addressing behavioral factors that contribute to overweight and obesity from the beginning. The Gold Sneaker initiative was developed to enhance policy related to physical activity and nutrition within licensed child care facilities across Tennessee. Policies we've adopted include minimum requirements on physical activity, sedentary activities, breastfeeding, meal time, behaviors, portion sizes, and a tobacco-free facility. Together, we can create healthy habits for life.
