Dress yourself for school day!

 

Today at The Academy of Gateway, we asked our friends to dress themselves for school! We loved seeing all of the different outfits our friends put together. Did you know that letting your child choose what they want to wear is a form of expressing themselves? So, the next time your little one wants to throw on a princess tiara or spider man cape, let them. There's only a short period of time when we can be princesses and superheroes.

All About Me!

This week for All About Me our friends made posters about all the things that make them who they are. Along with the All About Me posters our friends learned about the parts of the body. From drawing self portraits to moving a ball with our chins All About Me week was a blast.

Football Friday

Its Football Friday here at The Academy of Gateway! We love seeing all the support for all the different teams. Here are some ways you can gear up for the big games.

• Cook up some yummy finger foods (Chicken fingers, Sliders, etc.)
• Make your own sign with your favorite team on it
• Decorate your space for an awesome watch party
• Invite all your guests over

Labor Day is a holiday that honors all workers and can signify the end of summer. This holiday is celebrated on the first Monday in September in the United States and Canada. Workers of all kinds enjoy the day off and celebrate all that their work has made possible.
