Backpacks, Bubbles, and Barbecue: The early June edition

 We brought in June with a wickedly fun Pre-K Prom! From dancing and celebrating to kicking off KBC, diving into summer curriculum and enjoying our summer kickback-June started with magic, laughter, and lots of sunshine! 

KBC started off strong! Our kiddos received their backpacks filled with all the essentials- colored pencils, crayons, markers, and more. They also got their KBC shirts and learned all about how the program will flow this summer. We're ready to learn, grow, and have fun!

We are so excited to start this KBC year off right! 

We're soaking up the sunshine and loving every minute of it! Summer is officially here, and our days have been filled with digging. exploring, and nonstop laughter outdoors!

The Dino-mite Dean Allen stopped by for a magical show full of laughter and wonder! His dino magic had everyone giggling, engaged and smiling from ear to ear! 

We found the zebra that was on the loose in Rutherford County! He made his way to AoG for a special visit and of course, came bearing yummy zebra snacks for all our friends!

We had our summer kickback- and wow, what TURNOUT! From games and good food to laughter and great company, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season together. 

From face paint to yummy treats, our friends had a blast! Nothing beats spending time, laughing and making memories with friends! 

The cotton candy cones were a hit- everyone wanted one, even our little friends! We're so thankful for all the families who came out and kicked back with us. It was a sweet start to summer fun!

May is coming to a close.

 May is coming to a close, but that doesn't mean we didn't have fun at AoG! We made sure to soak up the season with one of our favorite traditions- Bike Day! Our friends had a blast riding from spring into summer, and it was all smiles. sunshine and spinning wheels.

Of course, we had to break out our spring-themed sensory bins. One of the best ways for our littles to explorer, create, and play. From squishing moon sand to discovering butterflies and ladybugs, our friends had an absolute blast diving into the season with all their senses!

Every year before summer begins, we take time to come together for our spring/summer conference and this year was no exception! We learned so much and gathered new tools and inspiration to carry into the sunny months ahead. These conferences are a special opportunity for us to grow as educators, reflect as a team, and prepare to make summer amazing for our little learners! 

April showers bring May flowers

 April showers bring May flowers... and our May Flowers are blooming with joy! From fun-filled outdoor play to celebrating Teacher Appreciation week, we've had a blast showing love to our incredible educators. 

The sun was shining, and so were our smiles! It's been a joyful May full of laughter and learning!

From outdoor smiles to indoor giggles, our friends at the Academy are having a blast! 

Teacher Appreciation week kicked off with 'Teachers love Tacos"! All of our amazing Dragons enjoyed Taco Bell and a special gift card to show our appreciation. 

Day Two of teacher appreciation week was Cloudy with a chance of teaching! Our educators were treated to pizza and gifted umbrellas to brighten their day- rain or shine!

Day three. was Where the Whild Things Are! Our amazing teachers got cozy in their pajamas and enjoyed a delicious breakfast from Panera, including bagels, and fresh fruit. To top it off, they were gifted comfy house shoes and an ulta gift card!

Day four, Featured Our Very Hungry Caterpillars! Teachers received snackle boxes to fill with their favorite treats and a fun gift card game- each one drew a number and matched it to a surprise gift card ranging from $10-$100. 

Day five of Teacher appreciation week with a magical Harry Potter theme! Our witches and wizards discovered their Hogwarts houses, enjoyed catered drinks and desserts from Panera bread, and received an amazon gift card as a token of our appreciation.
