Sunshine, Smiles & Spring Adventures 🌞🌸

Spring days in Preschool have been full of movement, exploration, and hands on fun as we soak up the sunshine and all the joy this season brings.

We kicked things off with a fun-filled spring scavenger hunt, where our little learners searched high and low for signs of spring. From spotting flowers to finding hidden treasures, this activity encouraged observation skills, teamwork, and excitement about the world around them.

When the sun made its grand appearance, we took full advantage with Bike Day! Our friends enjoyed a fun riding experience, building confidence, coordination, and balance while cruising and cheering each other on. There’s nothing like sunshine and fresh air to brighten the day.

We kept the fun going with a mini feed the bunny game, which brought lots of giggles while helping strengthen hand-eye coordination. Simple, playful activities like this are always a classroom favorite.

Our spring garden sensory bin gave children the opportunity to dig, explore, and imagine, creating their own little garden worlds. Sensory play continues to be such a powerful way for children to learn through touch and creativity.

In celebration of Earth Day, we worked on meaningful crafts that helped introduce the importance of caring for our planet. Even at a young age, our Preschoolers are learning that small actions can make a big difference. To build those fine motor skills, we incorporated pouring stations, giving our friends the chance to practice control, focus, and coordination. Of course, it also doubled as a fun little water play teaser as we get closer to those warm summer days.

From scavenger hunts to bike rides, crafts to sensory play, our spring days have been filled with laughter, learning, and so much Preschool joy. 🌷✨

Spring in Motion & Growing Minds 🌿🌦️

Spring has brought a fresh burst of energy into our Preschool classrooms, and we’ve been making the most of every moment with hands-on learning, movement, and creativity.

Our friends loved our spring movement dice, turning simple movement into exciting games that get our bodies up and moving. From hopping like bunnies to stretching like growing flowers, this activity builds coordination, listening skills, and lots of laughter along the way.

We also explored creativity with a beautiful fork stamping tulip craft. Using forks instead of paintbrushes, our Preschoolers created vibrant spring tulips while strengthening fine motor skills and discovering new ways to make art. Each piece turned out just as unique as the little artist behind it.

To tie in the rainy spring days, we introduced a fun raindrop activity that encouraged sensory play and early science conversations. Whether we were talking about weather, water, or how rain helps things grow, our friends stayed curious and engaged.

In enrichment, we’ve been diving into the wonders of the rainforest this month. The activities have been full of exploration, from learning about different animals to discovering how these environments thrive. It’s been amazing to see how excited the children get when learning about the world around them.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been preparing for the warmer weather, and it’s all coming together beautifully. Our outdoor space is truly flourishing, creating the perfect environment for exploration, play, and connection with nature.

Pre-K has begun setting up their garden, getting everything ready for planting season and learning what it takes to care for growing plants. One of the most exciting additions has been our mud kitchens, which are now built and ready for imaginative outdoor play. These spaces encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and cooperative play in such a natural and engaging way.

From movement and messy art to outdoor growth and exploration, spring is bringing so much life into our days. We can’t wait to keep learning, playing, and growing together. 🌷✨
