Life Cycle of Plants!

A life cycle is a series of stages a living thing goes through as it grows and changes over the course of its life. All plant life cycles start from a seed, an undeveloped plant inside a hard outer layer. Once the seed encounters the right conditions, it germinates and begins to grow into a seedling. Our children here at the Academy of Gateway have been learning all about plants. We have had great activities for them to do inside and out.Gardening can provide students with hands-on learning opportunities while increasing environmental awareness and vital experience in problem learning.

Here is a list of some seeds to grow with your little ones:

• Lettuce
• Beans
• Peas
• Radish
• Sunflowers
• Marigolds
